Once I knew I was pregnant I was so overwhelmed with all the things babies need. I ran into so many lists and ADs on all the things I will need to prepare for my little one. I didn’t want to crowd my house or spend too much on things I knew he’ll grow out in no time. And let me just tell you how many trips I made to my local UPS office to return things my little Benjamin didn’t find interest in. I realized babies don’t need a lot. They certainly don’t care how expensive or cheap something is as long as it is safe.
Here you will find my top most used products that I absolutely can’t live without along with a small description on how I use some of The products.
The Bottle Warmer is such a life saver when it came to preparing his formula ahead of time to save time. I simply pop it in the warmer while it change him and it makes it nice and warm for him. Here’s a tip- for night time bottle, make it extra warm and your little one will be sound asleep in no time. ( I learned that from my mom friend).
The BabyBjorn bouncer– I can go on and on about this bouncer. I got it in a collaboration with BabyBjorn and I am extremely thankful for it. I would still have purchased it if it wasn’t a collab. But it has come in handy during the day in so many ways. I bring it with me to the kitchen for Benjamin to sit in it while I cook. I bring it with me to the room while I clean as well. Basically any time I know he is awake and gives him comfort to see me. As long as he sees me, I can do work around the house or even my office.
The Transitional baby Swaddle– when Benny was born the hospital taught us how to swaddle him especially as a newborn. When we came home with the baby, for whatever reason, we thought Benny no longer wants to be swaddled. After many nights of him waking up from startle reflex we decided to reintroduce the swaddle and it has been a life saver and such a big part of his night time routine. Highly recommend.
The Doctor Brown Wide Neck Bottles– These saved us!! among so many great quality baby bottles, these were Benny’s favorite. We originally used the doctor brown natural flow bottles ( they are skinner bottles) but he would always get hiccups after every feed. We switched to the wide neck and he longer had hiccups after feeding.
The White-Noise Machine– let me just tell you, even I started sleeping better with the white-noise machine. White-noise machines create a comfortable, womb-like environment that calms infants, encouraging them to stop crying and fall asleep faster. White-noise machines also help babies stay asleep longer. I use it at night and even during his naps.
These are just my top favorite that definitely made a difference in our routine.
